Hi, I 'm Kurstin Jacot

Here's why I started Perennial Images in 2024:

My sweet, little flower truck has brought me so. much. joy.

And it almost never happened.

It got me thinking: what else would bring me joy if I made it past the “almost”?

When I was 15, my mom bought a fancy camera. iPhones were hardly a thing and we carried this camera everywhere. I lugged it around family weddings, sporting events, holidays and more. I just loved taking pictures and felt so much pride when my family loved the pictures that I took.

Around 2015, I found a love for being in front of the camera of the very talented Shelby Frary. Her talent amazes me and you can find her by searching Shelby Frary Photography on Facebook or Instagram. I highly recommend! I enjoyed every second of running through a field, climbing on ledges, and rolling in the mud for her art.

In 2019, my mom bought me a camera and I kept it tucked away waiting for special events. I played around with the settings and captured photos for our home.

I almost started taking photos as a side business.

Almost.

If I had started then, what would I know and who would I be now?

So here I am. Starting. Trying. Going for it.

Really, truly l i v i n g -because I found a new chubby, drooling, giggly reason.

If I fall flat on my face, it won’t be the first time, and at least I can say I tried.

A little branch off of Perennial Lane. I’m proud to start Perennial Images.
